چکیده

To achieve efficient adsorption and recycling of Cu2+ in wastewater, using as template ion, glutaraldehyde crosslinker, three sodium alginate hydrogel beads including SA, SAC, SAB were prepared by imprinting sol–gel method (SA) with carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) different precursors, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy used to characterize analyze morphology composition change the beads, When mass ratio SA CMC or β-CD reach 1:1, SAC are nearly homogeneous sphere. Then effects pH, time, initial concentration Cu2+, adsorbent dosage, coexisting ions on efficiency investigated. The results indicated that adding into skeleton increased toughness improved capacity Cu2+. Compared saturated 510 mg/g reached 817 822 mg/g, And their for over 95% at 25 °C pH 7, contact time within 350 min, dosage 4 mg/50 mL, 5 mg/L. Thus, could be material detecting removing from wastewater.

3D Printability of Alginate-Carboxymethyl Cellulose Hydrogel

Three-dimensional (3D) bio-printing is a revolutionary technology to reproduce a 3D functional living tissue scaffold in-vitro through controlled layer-by-layer deposition of biomaterials along with high precision positioning of cells. Due to its bio-compatibility, natural hydrogels are commonly considered as the scaffold material. However, the mechanical integrity of a hydrogel material, espec...

Cross-linked β-cyclodextrin and carboxymethyl cellulose hydrogels for controlled drug delivery of acyclovir

To explore the potential role of polymers in the development of drug-delivery systems, this study investigated the use of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), acrylic acid (AA) and N' N'-methylenebis-acrylamide (MBA) in the synthesis of hydrogels for controlled drug delivery of acyclovir (ACV). Different proportions of β-CD, CMC, AA and MBA were blended with each other to fabri...

Synthesis and adsorption performance of lead ion-imprinted micro-beads with combination of two functional monomers.

A novel ion-imprinted polymer, lead ion-imprinted micro-beads with combination of two functional monomers, was synthesized using the W/O/W polymerization method. Two functional monomers, 1,12-dodecanediol-O,O'-diphenyl-phosphonic acid (DDDPA) and 4-vinylpyridine, were used to form a suitable construction with micro-pores fitting the template and recognition sites. The effects of adsorbent dosag...

Chestnut Honey Impregnated Carboxymethyl Cellulose Hydrogel for Diabetic Ulcer Healing

Honey-based wound dressings have attracted a lot of attention from modern scientists owing to their anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects without antibiotic resistance. Such dressings also promote moist wound healing, and have been considered natural, abundant, and cheap materials for folk marketing. This study investigated the various behaviors and characteristics of chestnut honey-impre...
